The clever people over in the Aestheticodes academic research team based in The Horizon Digital Economy Research Institute have secured an EPSRC Research In the Wild Grant. This research grant allows the academic team to explore a real world - “in the wild” implementation of the aestheticodes system. The in the wild aspect describes the testing, development and implementation with Industry partners.
Aestheticodes will collaborate with Busaba Eathai and Johnson Tiles on an 18 month research development and implementation project. The research proposals are very exciting and should really push the potential for beautiful interactions within the everyday, if the research is successful it really could change how we visually interact with objects, services and environments.
Watch out for occasional updates here.
