About Me
Anthony Quinn is a designer, educator and writer, working across a range of disciplines. Quinn runs a successful design consultancy with clients such as British Airways, Winkreative, Debenhams and Wedgwood. He is project co-ordinator for Firing Up the Crafts Councils national programme to re-introduce ceramics into the school curriculum.
Quinn is Senior Lecturer on the BA Hons Ceramic Design at Central Saint Martins in London and is Professor of Form at the National Academy of art and design in Bergen, Norway and taught at The royal College of Art in London, Konstfak in Stockholm and Kansas City Institute of Art. He is the author of two books The Ceramic Design Course and the co-author of the Workshop Guide to Ceramics both published in the US with Barons and has written a number of articles for Blueprint magazine and Ceramic Review. He also acts as a consultant to artists who want to design and manufacture new works.
